Bella's
Bio
After
several interesting but unsatisfying careers, I finally heard the message people
had been trying to send me all my life. Bella,
they kept saying, your gift is in your hands. Looking back
I dont know why I didnt see it. Lets face it, I grew up in Santa
Fe, New Mexico, where my hippie parents migrated to live on a commune. For those
who dont know, my hometown is an alternative healing/spiritual Mecca. I
still cant quite believe that my elementary school hired a Reiki Master
to teach us energy work in the Third Grade. My initial studies in
massage at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balance, made me realize that I
am fascinated with the human body and its awesome power to heal when given choices.
This awareness, along with my close association with two prominent Rolfers, led
me to train at The Rolf Institute. I chose Rolfing because it allows me to affectively
treat the widest range of pain-related structural issues including Muscle tension,
sciatic nerve symptoms, emotional stress, headache, stiff neck, TMJ dysfunction,
whiplash, poor posture, computer related stress, and so much more. I understand
that Rolfing is partly intuitive and partly an understanding of human form, but
I also know that all healing is about creating an environment of utmost safety
and compassion for the people in my care.
